Rocksmith 2014 Tab Converter
Exports Rocksmith 2014 arrangements to Guitar Pro tabs (.gp5, .gpx). It parses Rocksmith's .psarc archives and converts any songs found within to tablature. All the Rocksmith techniques are supported and translated, and you get all of the chord diagrams and fingering hints that Rocksmith shows you. It's a great way to figure out specific parts of a song, and Guitar Pro's speed trainer is a very good alternative to the riff repeater. All arrangement types (bass, lead, rhythm) can be exported, either together in a single tab or into separate tabs.
The current version is v1.1. You can download it at FossHub. For installation and usage instructions, please refer to the documentation.

I released RocksmithToTab v0.8. New in this version is an improved rhythm detection algorithm that should result in more accurate rhythm notation. However, do expect that there may still be the occasional weird or simply incorrect note value appearing, particularly in fast solos. It’s impossible to prevent that entirely, but I do my best.
Changelog
- Improved rhythm detection.
- Fixed a bug where some chords had incorrect or missing notes.

A new release of RocksmithToTab is available. This version adds preliminary support for sustains and bends. Let me know if you find any issues with it!
Changelog
- Added support for sustains. Notes are, by default, sustained until the next note or until there is a pause longer than a full measure. If the note has a sustain value attached, it will be sustained for at least as long as that value says.
- Added preliminary support for bends. Due to limitations in the gpx file format, more complex bends may not show up correctly.
- Improved handling of slides, so there should be fewer incomplete slides in the generated files.

I’m excited to present the first public release of RocksmithToTab, a tool to extract tablature from Rocksmith 2014 arrangements. It already supports quite of few of Rocksmith’s features, the most notable missing features are bends and sustains. They will be added soon. The tabs are exported into the Guitar Pro 6 (.gpx) file format. You can open them with Guitar Pro 6 or with special versions of TuxGuitar that support the gpx format.
